Healing Through Compassion and Understanding
At Phase Homes, we specialize in trauma-informed care, using the PACE model (Playfulness, Acceptance, Curiosity, and Empathy) to help children heal and grow. Our therapeutic approach creates a safe space where children can explore their emotions, build resilience, and develop secure relationships. With the support of trained staff and access to therapeutic services, every child is empowered to overcome challenges and thrive.
Emotional Development
Supporting emotional development is a key aspect of our work. We help children to:
- Identify and name their emotions
- Understand the connection between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors
- Develop healthy ways of expressing and managing emotions
- Build resilience and coping skills
- Form positive relationships with peers and adults
We use a range of approaches, including one-to-one keyworker sessions, creative activities, and therapeutic play, to support emotional development in ways that are engaging and accessible for children of different ages and developmental stages.
